Care Shared - A TCARE Newsletter

Care Shared is a monthly email newsletter designed to boost TCARE Specialist morale and increase license usage by sharing stories and tips and spotlighting organizations and individuals excelling in caregiver support.

This project has easily been one of the most fulfilling of my journey thus far - small, but mighty.

I started this journey from a team suggestion, and I could not be more proud of what it has become in the months since!

Care Shared is an email newsletter I created hosted on MailerLite. I was lucky enough to work with our talented Visual Designer, Sydney Morr, to brainstorm a template that evolved throughout the months, but kept several main categories:

  • The welcome message
  • About the organization
  • Tip of the month
  • Caregiver story of the month
  • TCARE Specialist of the month

Here is a sample of what these looked like in action. Each month, these sections change a bit based on the organization and individuals being celebrated. Sometimes, one of these categories may not fit, and others may need an extra one added!

Some more details about the process

Each month, I work with our Client Success Manager to leverage her knowlege of "wins" from our partner organizations. We reach out to one or two different organizations to ask questions and get more information so we can celebrate them the best way possible!

Once this is completed, I pull the pieces together that make each individual/organization unique and even get a quote from a supervisor, leader in the organization, or kind words from our internal team.

Results

We have consistently received positive outreach from the individuals and organizations that we've highlighted each month as well as from our internal team.

Above, you can see some of our wins through analytics! I've been able to maintain a consistent open rate, low unsubscribe rate, and a growing number of subscribers despite having such a niche audience.

As I mentioned before, the main goal for this newsletter was to increase license usage and in turn, increase renewal rates for our AAA and SUA customers. While it's only been about 4 months since the first newsletter went live, we have had resounding results and feedback from our AAA partners.

A fairly new addition to the newsletter lineup has been repurposing our email newsletter content into a flyer to hand out at conferences.

This has been a great success - especially when someone at the conference realizes they were spotlighted in the edition we are handing out!
