Welcome to my site!

Hi, I'm Madison Rodgers (or "Maddie" as most call me)! This is a place where you can learn a bit more about me, my passions, and some of my experiences so far in the professional world.

My 2024 Goals

At the beginning of 2024, I set out to determine some achievable goals for the year. While these are both personal and professional goals, I feel that they can each be applicable in many aspects of my life!

Grow

The past year was particularly challenging, but in a good way. I am hoping to feel even more confident in who I am as both a professional and everyday person by the end of 2024.

Learn

I'm a lifelong learner. I've always enjoyed gaining new knowledge, so in the next 12 months, I hope to attend webinars, cooking classes, and gain some new certifications!

Create

This year, I plan to create as much as possible. Whether it's brainstorming during the workday or painting in the evening, I hope to carve out plenty of time to just let my brain flow.

Experience

While experience often refers to time spent in a professional setting - I hope to experience in every sense of the word in 2024! I'd particularly love to discover new places and activities close to home.

A little bit about me

Hi again, I'm Maddie! I'm a marketer looking to make a real impact on the lives of consumers. Last year, I jumped into the agency space at Beanstalk Web Solutions as a Digital Marketer working with a wide range of clients from dog training franchises to family-owned service providers.

Alongside my professional endeavors, I am really passionate about making the transition from student to professional simpler and less uncomfortable. I have been a mentor and conference judge at the district, state, and national of FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) for the past 5 years. But before that - I was a student in the organization myself! It's my hope that though my blog, I can make at least one person realize that they're not alone.

If you're interested in hearing more, my blog is a place where you can find my streams of consciousness, reflection, and some miscellaneous posts about my journey so far as a young professional!

"Madison is a true joy to work with. Everyday she brings with her a huge smile and friendly attitude making the day better for those who work with her. But her hard working ethics, enthusiasm to tackle projects head on, and her self motivation is what shines. Every project that she has produced has been top notch. She takes a lead approach, is mindful to understand the issue and needs of each project, and isn't afraid to speak up or ask questions to get to that final result. She is very detailed oriented, loves to learn and continues to grow her knowledge and is willing to give and take feedback. She works well with teams and independently. I truly enjoy working with Madison and seeing the impact that she has made on clients, co-workers, and community."

"I have known Maddie since she was a first-year student at Missouri State University. She served as one of our two Publicity Chairs and she impressed me with not only the quality of the designs she created, but also the caliber of her work ethic and her ability to effectively communicate with the rest of the board. Her ideas and her voice were always resounding, despite being masked as she led the advertising efforts for our community."

"Maddie has always been a great marketer and designer, that’s easy to see; but the skill she leverages most to rise above her competition has always been her strategic planning. I cannot recommend her enough!"
